Keep it positive
« on: June 15, 2019, 11:22:39 AM »
Itís that time of year again. Posts are getting nuked. People are mud slinging. This will serve as a reminder to all that we donít tolerate negativity here on the forum. If you donít have something nice to say, donít say anything at all. If you make a negative post bashing someone for something, donít bother asking where your post went. Itíll be gone.
We ask that if the member group sees a post of a negative nature, please click on the ďreport to moderatorĒ tab. We canít see everything all the time, but with your help weíll maintain the more positive, family friendly, new hunter friendly environment that this forum is intended to be.

Recap:

If you have any questions, all the rules are here:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. THANK YOU!

Sorry you have to do this on a yearly basis.

And on the positive side:   Over the years, I have drawn two tags for units I'd never set foot in.    I got GREAT help from people on Hunt Wa for both of those hunts.

I wonder how many people will touch their nose to their screen trying to read this...

Really appreciate seeing this clear policy!   I left the forums a long time ago because they all seemed to be just another version of Facebook with all the negativity, childish egos, and critical BS. Imagine being new or inexperienced and being degraded, made fun of, etc. These forums provide an opportunity to share information, teach, and learn from others. Appreciate all those who keep this forum positive and valuable!

Hey new guy, don't be putting in for units your not familiar with! What do you think this is! I suppose you want to know exactly where the biggest bull sleeps too huh... Or what shrub the biggest buck lays his head under! Well your not getting any help from me! Stop long arming all your pictures too! All of your animals look like they were shot in Hollywood! It's ridiculous... And there is no way that your friends brother knows of a friend's uncle's new friend from work who has seen a deer that big. Never happened....

There I got them all out on this one thread...    :chuckle:

Unfortunately too often it is the same few that don't feel like rules apply to them so they just let it rip. Yet many complain that parents have too many "conversations" with their kids instead of providing consequences  :dunno: I say if you can't follow the rules (2 or 3 times depending on the issue) you lose the privilege of being a part of this on-line community permanently...done, and less silly reprimands that take the mods time.  As adults we should all be able to respect these rules and each other...if you can't, move along, the rest of are tired of it. Unfortunately we have lost great people that have left because of it and we all suffer from the loss of their contributions.

Can I say liberal puke and still be in compliance? Will Mods show up at my door and confiscate my computer mouse? Just asking for a friend...............OK I'm asking for me..you all know I don't have any friends.

But what if Rtspring shoots a real dink? Still nothing negative, even thought it's RT? There has to be discretion here, right? You know he's a Squid, right?
