Missouri Breaks
« on: May 27, 2020, 11:19:00 AM »
Hey all,

Looks like I am headed to the Missouri Breaks this Sept.  While I am comfortable with our planning, I am curious if others have experiences they would want to share about the Breaks.  I know about the "gumbo", crowds, river hunting etc.  Have people had better luck in the trees, water holes, spot and stalk, ambushing...

Thanks all, looking forward to hearing a few stories!

Good luck, that's an awesome hunt.  I don't know that there are many secrets there, if so they are tightly held.  Hopefully you can spend a good chunk of time there to have the best trip and odds in your favor.

It's pretty crazy stuff, my dad's house is built on it.  Think of a mix of clay and glue that weighs as much as lead and as slippery as ice when wet.
