Titan Outdoors Kids Rams-2019 Camp (BlackRiver Tax.)
« on: January 27, 2020, 10:01:49 PM »
Heres a good majority of the 2019 rams from the youth hunt Titan Outdoors does every year called 'Lil' Titans- Hunt for the Future'. Posted last year, but for those that don't know, the program is a full charity (501C-3) designed to get kids involved in hunting and outdoors. We take video-essays from kids anywhere in the US in the ages of 9-15 and have the hard task of choosing 12-14 of them to go on this full expense paid hunt to Ashwood Oregon to Four Aces Ranch with their parents and our video crew. The youth selected are kids that have either a desire to hunt but don't have options for it (financial or other situation), kids that have never been successful at harvesting an animal yet, or kids with disabilities or are having tough challenges in life. The hunt is fully paid for and encompasses 4 days on a 5500 acre ranch where they get to experience the hunt, learning to skin and prep for taxidermy, games, camping, shooting (long range instructor on site), and hunter education (instructor also onsite that signs them off for their card for Washington or Oregon). The hunt is videoed as well. The ranch has over 12 species of exotic rams (among other animals) and before you want to criticize about a 'ranch hunt'  you should truly check it out. These rams are wild and the terrain is rugged and steep; by no means is it a 'pick and shoot'! The winners get to shoot a full-curl exotic ram and then it is mounted up free of charge and presented to them at the year end banquet which just occurred in Tillamook, Oregon this past weekend. The new winners will be called in the upcoming weeks with the 2020 camp at the end of March. Blessed to be apart of Titan Outdoors and this program that is in its 5th year and its amazing to see these kids text or email us from past years with pictures of successful deer, elk, bear, etc hunts with their families into following years and develop a love for the outdoors. Sorry for the long post, but thought I would share some pics the 2019 rams, these are the rams that came from B.R.T. I don't know why the pics are sideway...tried to get them upright but it appears it won't let me
