I finally had some time on the bench today with the new-to-me Barnes 225ttsx.  Same Reloader 22 powder but I was able to push a full 2 grains more than the other load.  My Chrono is showing 3245fps.  Weather permitting, I'll do some more work as the week goes by.  Time for some cleaning tonight.
You'll never get a Big'un if you keep shooting Little'un's.

I've been slowly converting my hunting rounds to them after getting tired of other bullets blowing up on heavy bones and destroying meat.  A well placed lung shot is great right up to where the target gets covered by a leg bone when walking, or in one case a straight down into the spine on a mule deer exploded like a varmint round.  I also have a buddy who carefully processed some elk into sausage only to find a small speck of lead in it while his grandson was eating. I've never seen  Barns not expand, or come apart being all copper.  I also have had very good accuracy with them once the right load and velocity is ironed out.

I'll still run lead through my 308 and 44mag but over 3,000fps I've gone to all copper.
