Elk study
« on: April 06, 2020, 12:16:09 PM »
WSU elk study was delayed this week, not allowed to capture and transport elk from western WA.  They plan to do so as soon as permitted.

I have yet to see one with hoof rot up in this area and let’s hope it stays that way

I could take them to multiple hoof rot infected herds down here In the SW, but I guess it depends if they are looking for a healthy elk to study or an infected one.  I hope they get some from here we need a solution for this, It’s sad to see what has happened to the herds around here and the infection rate within a given herd is in some cases 100%

Contact Dr. Wild at the vet school, it was arranged but is now on hold.  Maybe you have a better option.

Likely the Winston area.  Better then killing em al right?  Easy pickings in mudflow areas.
MAGA!  Again..

They’re around that’s for sure. Have seen tracks further East  and West and also seen them on the South side of the river on Private land.

That's funny Jake not like there's large herds even along the river private land.
