LEM MaxVac 500 Vacuum Sealer

Anyone had experience with these? Sportsman's has them fo4 $300. Was originally looking at a commercial grade Weston but figured if this could do the job pretty well it's worth saving a couple hundred bucks.
Main uses will be packaging game meat and fish, and dehydrated meals for backpacking.
Thanks!

I've had the 1,000 for a few years and it is a beast. LEM makes some good stuff, you should be pleased with the 500, especially if coming from a food saver or like brand.
