Only bad thing about power bills is the thin jacket they've shot great in every muzzleloading rifle I ever tried them in. Any specs on jacket thickness for these?
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Funny you say that.

My son shot a spike bull with a power belt this year.

He hit a back rib going in and the bullet actually tore into 2 large pieces.
One piece exited, but we recovered probably a 150 grain piece of mangled lead.

I thought a jacketed bullet at muzzy speed would hold together better.

I wonder how many people will touch their nose to their screen trying to read this...

powerbelts are not jacketed bullets. Its a thin electroplating.

.
I have shot 3 small black tails with the 295 grain jacketed powerbelts powered by 2 50 grain pyrodex  pellets. Had complete penetration on all three with the exit holes the same size as the entrance holes. I was thinking maybe I needed to ratchet up the powder charge to get any expansion. Maybe the results would be different on elk.
