Outdoor Vitals Summit Sleeping Bag
« on: April 21, 2021, 10:53:29 AM »
Anyone ever give one of these a try? Need a bag to supplement my 29* synthetic. Thinking of going with a 0*.

I'll mostly be in a stove capable floorless shelter with a bivy/ground sheet to protect from any moisture so I think down is a safe choice.

Just a thought here, what if you kept your current bag and just slept in a pair of kuiu puffy pant and coat? I know the pair is expensive but they would be used not just for keeping warm when you sleep.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

I am looking to pick up some puffy pants but I'm also interested in dropping some ounces on my bag. That and I move a good bit when sleeping so more clothes gets very uncomfortable.

Took the 29* down to 12* last deer season, but I was car camping and had a pretty heavy fleece blanket with me inside the bag.
