2021 49D Late Moose
« on: June 11, 2021, 06:38:00 AM »
Hi guys, at 22 years old I was beyond extremely lucky and grateful that I was able to draw a antlered moose tag. I would love to get any information and tips on the area and unit and or talk to some of the guys/gals that have been able to get the same hunt :)

Me too! Been putting in for more years then he's been alive. Gotta love it when the youngins get drawn early in life. Maybe someday when I cant walk anymore, I will get drawn and one of these youngins will push me around in my wheelchair on my hunt, in rememberence of letting them before me in the draw. 😊

Best part of our state is everyone has a chance. We may all have slim chances, but at least there is some incentive to be in the draw no matter how many years you have been applying.

I also drew this hunt with 13 points a few years ago. Send me a PM when you get a chance. You will have a great hunt!

Congrats on a great tag. Welcome to hunt wa and don’t mind the negative nellies. They’ll be cheering you on when hunting season rolls around.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
