Hunt question??
« on: October 15, 2021, 10:38:51 AM »
Does anyone know of a good contact that I can make for a Elk hunt to take an elderly gentleman. Looking for a Cow Elk harvest type hunt. Walking would be limited, but would love for him to harvest his winter meat. If anyone has any contact it would certainly be appreciated, the state does not matter, as long as in Western US.... Must be fairly reasonable <$2000.00. Any input would be great. Please PM me with contacts or suggestions.
Thanks so much,
BKMFR

Look up the site owner, Bearpaw.  I believe he does cow hunts in Utah that are reasonable.

look on craigslist, there are always adds for hunts on there. One in particular is outside Cheney.

Don't know if he still has them, but a few years ago I did a hunt near Vernal, UT with Bearpaw that would be perfect for this.  I was deploying and only had a short time to get out and get some meat.  It's not really a hunt, but a harvest.  Not a high fence situation, wild elk, but there are hundreds down in the fields, cow only.  Sure ate really good!
