Well fellas, it's been going great so far.  Been good to connect with all of you regulars again, and I always enjoy meeting up with the new folks too.

Thanks to you all for the kind words, and everybody has been Johnny-on-the-spot with the pickup times.  I've only been 5 mins late once (thanks for the coms assist @wadu1), and that was because I didn't realize how stupid traffic gets for no reason on I-5.  Now that I live on an island the size of Delaware with a total of 8800 people and 37 miles of roads (including every cul-de-sac and paved alley), adjusting back to the population density in some areas is a little shocking.  I'm sure I'd get used to it again, but I don't want to!

Tuna has been tough the last couple of years for the jig boats out of Westport and Ilwaco.  Everybody keep your fingers crossed that they are large, plentiful and close to shore in September and October.

Just a few more days to go!

Nice thing about meeting Skillet in Yakima is nobody even gives a parking lot hand off a second glance  :chuckle:

Blackened Ling Cod for dinner. I'm re-season all my cast iron so had to use the non stick but still turned out incredible! The most beautiful fish a guy can buy. The smoked salmon bellies didn't suck for lunch either :chuckle: Thanks again Chris for making the rounds  :hello:

Based on volume I think that next round I'm going have to burn a littke PTO and offer my assistance in delivering....sounds like a decent way to spend a few days on the road.

Well one guy did, but he went away once he realized we weren't going to finance his mid-morning happy hour  :chuckle:

Thanks for the business Karl, glad you like the fish.  Lingcod looks great

Just one more day of deliveries, then I'm all done. Thanks for turning out again HuntWa!

ondering if anybody has success in breaking down those 1.25# packs of scallops without thawing them out completely?  We joked about it earlier, but looking for actual tips if anybody's got one.

Congratulations on the success of this year's fish run Chris. Had "life not gotten in the way" I would have volunteered to be a fish mule this year. Perhaps this next year. I hope you do have a safe holiday season and safe travels.   :hello:

Why would you do that?   :dunno:

What are you catering to hipster "eat in moderation" types these days?

Oh ya, I'm a big promoter of the "one scallop meal" diet fad  :chuckle:

Hahahaha!  @ctwiggs1  He was asking for me because I asked him LOL.  I'm the only one in my family that eats them and I was hoping to make them go farther by not eating the entire package at once.... although I can and have!  :chuckle:

I bet you can get a pot, fill it part way with water and put them in on their side and only thaw the part in the water.
