Oh boy, and it's about to start, the threads of early shed antlers and the hordes of people getting out WAY TOO EARLY to find them. Not saying you are at all, I'm sure you are being responsible and watching from a distance. But most people won't wait a bit and will push animals around in a tough time of year that is just starting.

Yeah the bad weather hasn't came yet so chase them all day!
Throw boomerangs at them! Or.... run them into a high fence corral, feed them till they drop then let them out again. Then nobody can claim your sheds! Righteous! Righteous! I usually wait until at least April down by the river and later up in the hills. Chill out everyone. Lol

All joking aside, there are some folks who will be out there doing just what we are talking about. It's wild how many people might be watching the same buck on public land and are waiting for that antler.

My buck's on private  :tung:

But yea with the popularity shed hunting has gained in the last few years, people tend to forget about the state the animals are in.

I had a bull moose drop somewhere around my tree stand last week. Haven’t had time to look but he’s still on my camera.
