Just promoting a non-profit that a buddy of mine runs for veterans and their families. This event benefits the organization he recently took over as executive director. He's a retired Navy Chaplain of 25 years and is passionate about investing in the lives of military veterans and their families.
Learn more about Cross the Divide: https://www.crossthedivide.usCross the Divide is the reincorporated entity originally founded as “Divide Camp”, a rustic camp that provided restoration and hope to combat veterans by creating a community of care and support in an outdoor setting. Through the vision, godly prayers and hard work of its founder, Julie Wheeler, Divide Camp started in 2009 as an outreach to post-9/11 combat wounded veterans in the Wallowa Mountains on the edge of eastern Oregon’s Eagle Cap Wilderness.
Cross the Divide relaunched in January 2022 as a faith-based, Christian nonprofit. It will expand the scope of its outreach to all veterans and their families while continuing programming for combat wounded veterans. It will continue to host events in Joseph, Oregon, while expanding to other locations around the United States.
