I just looked up 2021 draw results for MS deer - holy cow i didnt realize the odds had gone down so much. Used to be a for sure thing and now its almost 1 out of 3. I was somewhat hopeful  on getting my name drawn in the second drawing but not so much anymore....

:chuckle:  I'm a proud supporter of WDFW's permit application system.
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

I am 100% for WDFW charging up front the full cost for the multi season tags when you buy the permit application and if not drawn you get refunded the tag cost. Weeds out everyone who isn't really serious about wanting a multi season tag. I'm talking about the same couple thousand guys who don't buy their tags every year they're drawn... Other states do this with certain tags and it works great for the guys who are serious about it.

I personally spoke to them and they acknowledged that is what is published. Last week they were testing the system and there is a malfunction. They could not get the system  to stop selling tags when the remaining number of available tags was up. The decision was made last week after not being able to resolve it that they would have to release the tags to the next in line. They will take all the X number of remaining tags and offer them to the next X number of remaining people. Those people have 1 week to buy. Then the next X number of remaining tags to the next X number of people in line. They intend to do this every week of the deer seasons until all tags are sold.

How do we bring this up to them? Is it something we can actually make happen? I'm not familiar with how changing these types of things goes.
