Out of state hunting partners.
« on: April 04, 2023, 05:38:11 PM »
Looking for a couple guys who are dedicated and passionate about hunting. I have been hunting blacktails for 20 years and have been very successful. Just recently started hunting out of state the last few years in montana and have harvested a few good mule deer. Im wanting to hunt wyoming and colorado and possibly new states for elk and deer. I picked up archery last year and called in my first bull, I hunted elk mostly rifle with my dad for years but he is not able to hike back far anymore. I dont have any friends locally who are willing to travel and spend the money to hunt out of state. Anyone thats interested send me a pm and maybe we can talk. Thanks.

What type of hunting are you typically doing? Like drop camp with horses or backcountry? All archery or mix?

Havnt done drop camp or back-country yet. Thats what im looking to do is back-country and drop camps. Im fine with a mix of both,I havnt harvested a animal with a bow yet but i love hunting elk in the rut.

Hunt the earlier seasons in CO, especially at altitude. Elk migrate downhill the first sign of snow. The Mulies thin out too. good luck. I hope you find a good partner.
