All I can say to you naysayers is either lead, follow or get the hell out of the way... there ARE positive things happening.  You just have to open your eyes to see them.

There are a lot of people working their asses off volunteering their time to ensure we have a voice, and our way of life is not taken from us.  I got no choice but to continue to fight with everything i got.  If it does happen, and we lose fishing and hunting in this state... when my grandkids ask me "Papa, how come we can't fish and hunt anymore?" I can look them in the eye and say, "I'm sorry things are the way they are. But Papa fought hard for our rights kiddo.  Papa fought hard."

To know I sat on my butt and did nothing, and it goes away... there is no way I can do that.

I finally got a chance to watch the public comments from 9/30. Great job Dane, Doug, Gary, and everyone that spoke. All of you did a great job representing the hunting community and letting The Commission know where we stand, while still keeping it respectful. Maybe it's just my unbridled optimistic nature, but it appeared they "got it." They know we're pissed.

For those that watched or were there, what did you think about their follow-up comments afterwards? Do you think the commissioners in question, actually want to work with hunters and anglers? Legit? Blowing smoke?

It’s blowing smoke. They gaslight the crap out of people after. And now they wanted to have committee meetings be closed door which is illegal. They don’t listen and when we talk with them, they discount our thinking and make up their own excuses

I understand the negativity that many are expressing; thoughts of hopelessness, and plans to move away if things continue down this path. This is exactly what they are trying to achieve. They welcome and embrace our division. They will gladly fill up our gas tanks to help make sure our moving trucks make it out of this state. However, these things spread if they are not defeated, and eventually there will be nowhere left to go. My ancestors managed these lands before any of these rogue commissioners were even thought of, and I'm not about to hand over the fish and game resources of this state to people who are trying to destroy them. Yes, they are actively trying to destroy them. Well, it's time to fight. They have awaken a sleeping giant, so we do have something to thank them for. It's pretty simple to see that their plans for change don't align with the very sufficient conservation policy we already have, and they will lose in court on every count. Allowing predators to decimate our ungulate herds, while also facilitating the suffering of predators in the process, not to mention the removal of the harvest aspect, is not preserving, protecting, perpetuating and managing (all of the resources) as the mandate requires. This commission is on a track for sure, but we are in a train and I don't think they have any idea how powerful we are and how fast we are steaming their way. Are you going to be there on October 27th? Thousands is the goal, not hundreds. Get on board. Let's do this.
Everyone lives off the land.  Some of us simply have more fun doing it.

Is anybody coordinating the turnout effort for the next meeting? Do we have the numbers available to speak to, on conservation dollars and population trends? Did we make sure people are able to travel, with gas / hotel / etc?
What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

I don’t think there’s any coordinating, I know a ton of people are going to be there though. I think we’re gonna get way over 100. I don’t know if anyone is supplying people with lodging or anything. I know there’s a few people from the east side coming. It’s shaping up to be pretty large.
