Arrow Set Up for Black Bear
« on: November 21, 2024, 08:47:48 PM »
I run 125gr Radical Madman on 300 Easton Axis with over all arrow weight 500gr-ish (65lb 27.5")and does me well. Next year I will be hunting black bear for the first time. Should I be running a heavier arrow for bear? I'd like to hear what set-ups have given you success because I want to make an ethical shot. Cheers.

That set up will kill a black bear.   Wouldn’t change a thing.   Shot placement is key.
