It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

2024 archery cow in a unit I have never stepped foot in shot my first morning at 7 yards. Pretty epic morning hunt.

I ate my elk tag this year, but thankfully got a healthy portion of salvage elk meat to go with it! This young 5x5 had the misfortune of totaling someone's car in Naches about a month ago, and a neighbor got the salvage tag. I offered to help him cut it up and he was extremely gracious in the amount of meat he sent me home with. It was the talk of the town around here for sure, and a cool experience getting to meet some neighbors I wouldn't otherwise have gotten to interact with.
"master" hunter - still a noob.
