« on: September 08, 2024, 12:26:04 PM »
shot these yesterday for the first time with blackhorn 209 in 75 and  80 grains pretty accurate. man they pack some recoil. using them for elk hunting in my cva optima. i guess im getting old my shoulder is sore! :bash: :bash: still have a little fine tuning to do at 100 yards. darn eyes are not what they used to be either. may have to add a 1x scope later. picked up the leupold 1x32 freedom and vortex 1x24 as well.

Yes those No Ex bullets have a little push back but they put a hurt on an elk. I've shot two elk with them (1 bull and 1 cow). Very short recovery on both.
