j/k  :chuckle:

Wish we were going this year.  Good luck!

One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job. ~ Jose Ortega y Gasset

Once upon a time the high hunt dominated my thoughts and it was a rare year I was not up there.  Good luck to all those packing in, hope to see some successful pics in the weeks to come.

Good luck fellas. I’m kind of in the same place as ridgerunner. I’ve lost my desire to hunt Washington as well.  Might be back at it when Idaho goes to a draw.

I’m headed in tomorrow morning and hope to be out Wednesday night. Good luck to everyone on the high hunt this year.

Yep.  Took a break from it too this year.

Love the high-country, but I didn't allocate any time to scout.  And, it's hard getting excited about spending all that time and energy for small bucks since way too many people blast the first frickin' legal 3-point they see.

I understand the excitement of new hunters, but it's okay to let the youngsters walk and get some age on them fellas!
