Once upon a time the high hunt dominated my thoughts and it was a rare year I was not up there.  Good luck to all those packing in, hope to see some successful pics in the weeks to come.

Good luck fellas. I’m kind of in the same place as ridgerunner. I’ve lost my desire to hunt Washington as well.  Might be back at it when Idaho goes to a draw.

Yep.  Took a break from it too this year.

Love the high-country, but I didn't allocate any time to scout.  And, it's hard getting excited about spending all that time and energy for small bucks since way too many people blast the first frickin' legal 3-point they see.

I understand the excitement of new hunters, but it's okay to let the youngsters walk and get some age on them fellas!
