Oregon Trophy Elk Confiscated
« on: January 12, 2025, 11:39:40 PM »
I’ve had a couple friends tell me one of the quality Oregon tag bulls was recently confiscated, apparently shot from the Washington side.

 Anyone have any legit info?

Was that a walla walla/stateline bull? I live within 1/4 mile of the state line in walla walla county, been watching that herd all winter

If I had to guess where it could be grouse flats in mt view unit. A lot of huge bulls are very close to that border and it wouldn’t be the first time with issues around that area.

This is true. I spoke to the game warden about it earlier today. There was 2 seperate incidents involving Oregon hunters shooting elk on the Washington side. One happened to be the raffle tag holder.
