Great event if you are luck you won’t have to go through the protesters that protest our event..any rate it might be one of your last opportunities to by the or have a goat tag in this state..I can leave that up to you to decide why. Great event with probably more raffle opportunities for firearms than any other fundraiser. Hope to see you there.

Just got my ticket been wanting to go for years but always had a conflict.

Hunters Heritage Council and Washingtonians for Wildlife Conservation will be in attendance. We commissioned Benjamin Tyler 3rd to make a call for this event. Benjamin is a 3rd generation call maker and carver. His single reeds sound as exquisite as the look. The sale of this call will help fund us representing sportsmen.

We finished the very successful event last night. The highlight of the evening involved having a wildlife biologist from the Muckleshoot Tribe talk about their 30 year study on predator/ ungulates studies. This was 15 minutes of slide shows involving the ups and downs of not managing predators. Their studies have indicated that without predator control less than 10 percent of the fawns and calves will survive. With some form of control those numbers will easily go up to a 50 percent survival rate. These studies involved mountain goats, elk, and deer. These studies involved hundreds of collared animals over the years including cougars and bears that have also been collared. Just a note, yes their studies show that cougars do kill 50 ungulates/per cougar a year.
So whom do you trust to get good information from?

If sportsmen do not band together the tribes will do so without us. They are consumptive users whom we have a lot in common. It takes a lot of manpower to protect our hunting heritage.
