Don’t ruin it for everyone
« on: February 10, 2025, 08:25:57 PM »
For you tag holders that have the Peshastin late bull tag. this is a Hunt that you should’ve had permission before the hunt started and the fighting and the squabbling is going to ruin it for everyone. This is just a friendly warning.

Running the animals around to get them on the right side of the river is kinda bogus too :dunno:

It goes Feb 8th-15th pretty much a private land hunt in the pear orchards. If you don’t have permission prior to the Hunt or no one of those orchardist pretty hard to get permission. People seem to forget to read the little section C in the applications they draw the tag and then they wonder why they can’t get permission to hunt.

Dang, and waste a pile of points if they can't get permission.  Reward versus risk?
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

Bummer. I work with a lot of pear growers in the unit and some love to send me pictures of the elk in their orchards all winter long

Sounds like a damage hunt and if the landowners don’t provide access to the hunters there is not much reason to have the hunt in the future or pay the landowners for damages.

But at the end of the day, the regs tell you these are private land hunts and you need to arrange access so shame on the hunters for not planning ahead.

The sign says “open” so why is it so difficult to find a place to hunt  :chuckle:

That was the first year of the hunt and I do believe that bull was taken just up the hill from this fruit stand by a gentleman that had secured permission to the orchard :chuckle:
