Gear Stolen - North Spokane
« on: May 10, 2025, 08:06:03 PM »
Someone stole my tent, pad and sleeping bag. Went out for a morning hunt, came back and it was gone. I've never had it happen in years of time in the mountains. If anyone sees any of the following for sale - odds are good it's stolen.

Big Agnes Windy Point 2p tent
North Face Hypercat 20 degree synthetic bag
Exped Synmat 7

Guess I've learned my lesson, not looking for sympathy, be careful out there though! Mostly grateful it wasn't optics or guns. About 30 minutes south of Newport.

Now you got to chain a tent up

Be fun to catch these guys in the act just once.     :bash: :bash:

I’ve gotten to the point where I hange multiple trail cams (to include cell cams) around all my gear.  Even if they find them, the cell cams have likely transmitted.   Sucks a person has to do this.

The thing is nowadays if you do anything to the perps the law will come after YOU. Catch and release seems to be the norm as well, so perps have no fear of repercussions for their actions.
I know it is frustrating for law enforcement as well.
