Daughters had a very quick deer opener. We hiked out a few miles in the dark spotted a legal buck with a bad limp and my daughter decided she'd shoot it. Got set up and she made a 250 yard shot at about 7am. We got down to the deer and noticed the limp looks like he may have been shot during muzzleloader season. Just as we starting skinning my younger daughter noticed a deer coming over the ridge about 600 yards away coming right to us. We sat down and watched him close the distance to 90 yards and my daughter dropped him with a frontal shot.
