I like to use jigs and worms, or slow troll with a wedding ring and worms, or just worms, sometimes minnows on jigs, like those GULP minnows. then there is worms!

i'm no expert walleye fisherman, but i like to troll a wedding ring type setup(i like those flexible mylar wing blades over the metal spinner blades) with a double hook setup and a whole nightcrawler, realllly slow.

double whammy with a whole nightcrawler trolled real slow behind a bottom walker or a hot lips have always been my favorites although in the late winter/early spring you can do well by vertical jigging a blade bait

Used to do pretty well dragging a floating walleye rig w/nightcrawler attached to a bottom bouncer... before they killed off Sprague Lake.

wherever the fish are likely to be! when i was east of the mountains last month, we were getting our walleyes in 20-40 feet of water in the potholes, and about 6-10 feet at moses lake, right under the boat!
