Best bird taxidermist in washington state?
« on: January 21, 2026, 12:31:52 AM »
Looking for recommendations for the best waterfowl taxidermist around the area. I have a few ideas so far, curious to see what others think.

Seth Lane!! Lane Wildlife Artistry. He was a Tri-Cities boy but has recently moved up to Kettle Falls. I did just see he's full and not taking in anymore birds this year though. I think it's worth the wait if you can get it in to him.

Jeff Reeves from true to life taxidermy in East Wenatchee does amazing work on birds.  I don't bird hunt, but when I'm in his shop......I am always amazed by his artistry on birds.

I gave him a look over, great looking mounts no doubt. Vandeman,  would you mind posting a few pics of your birds?

Sure. Two are at my folk's house and one is at my place so I can at least get pics of the one at home

Kurt Benson in your back yard I great. Also Matt Klope Whidby island TAXIDERMY. Both are supporters of the Washington Waterfowl Association

I think he is retired, but Mike Casper in Walla Walla is tremendous.  These are a couple he's done for me.[/img]
