Got a couple of new toys for this years mayhem.....lol
« on: April 21, 2007, 09:04:31 PM »
I kinda went nuts yesterday and spent alot of cash. I have been really wanting a field set-up.....so I bought one...lol. I already have a dozen full body Flam Enticers. Thought this stuff would help. I also kinda spent my dipping budget for my O/U...but *censored* happens. GHG Ground Force, GHG Ground Force Dog Blind, and 2 dozen GHG oversized 5/8 Mallard shells. The feeders and actives.   8)  In a few months I will be adding the GHG Harvester full body pack    :chuckle:

Tem minutes of work and Maggie already has the first part down.....she goes through the front, all the way out to the back, and comes back in though...dork.

Anybody giving you strange looks as they drive by?  Like holy crap a pink flaminggo is one thing, but a flock of mallards and a camoflaged easy chair.  :chuckle:

Seriously though, nice looking gear.  You  have a long time to wait until you get to use it.

Boy Choclab, the next thing you need is to get that equipment borke in.  Since you were so nice to introduce me to this site with a link from another site that I will return the favor and take your gear, say the first part of Oct. and break it in and work out all the kinks, I should have it all broke in for you by mid January.   Just want to return the favor. :chuckle: :chuckle:

I will have to take you up on that offer.  I used a lay down blind last year when I went to Canada goose hunting and fell in love with those things.  I am looking to pick one up soon and would love to get with ya on some hunts.  We've talked about it a few times, but we will have to make it happen.  Here at work I've been watching and listening to the geese, mallards, and wood ducks as they pair up.  It sure gets the blood pumping for the up coming season.

You are more than welcome to come and hunt with us. I am gonna buy another layout blind for Sierra to use and for guests. I really like the Ground Force blinds. They have a lower profile than most, including the Finishers. Plus they are really roomy. Don't forget I can travel too....LOL!!!!  :chuckle:

Those "toys" are really cool. I just have a cammie tarp and a bunch of floaters. I'll probably need all new equipment now to hunt around Brewster......... Oh well if I don't spend it on that, it'll just sit in the bank and collect dust.
The first bird may get the worm, but it's the second rat that gets the cheese.

If you look around online you can find the camo one for around 180 bucks or less. I think my buddy bought his off of ebay for 170 shipped.

You talking about the Power Hunter? My buddy has one and he doesn't like it very well. It's kinda of a bitch to get your gun shouldered and your gun has to sit outside of the blind

Great lookin dekes Choc, i really need to buy a good field setup. Those GHG's are definitely tempting.
