« on: July 24, 2009, 06:53:50 PM »
We were getting fuel today and we got to talking with eddie the fuel guy on the dock in westport. It got around to elk and he drew the rimrock rifle hunt that starts the day after archery in september it sounded like there was only one tag for it and it would be during the rut I think it is a 5 day season he is excited so hope this is a good tag.

Does he have to wear hunter orange? Do the Archery Hunters in that unit have to wear hunter orange since there is a rifle hunt going on?

It's after the archery season is over. I think technically he would be required to wear orange but I doubt if any game warden would write him up for not wearing it, since there won't be any other rifle hunters in there at the same time. Unless there's somebody in there bear hunting.
