this will be my first elk hunt in Montana (archery  :archer: ) this year, and I'm hoping to get some info IE: what units have been hit hard by wolves what areas are over run by hunters ya da ya da. or any other info that can help me narrow down my unit list. if you can help please PM me. thanks all

The wolves have the elk really stressed out in most parts of the state. I travel there for work and a few of my reps who hunt seem to think the National Forest adjacent to the Elk Horn draw unit is one of the best places in the state. Fairly steep, limited access and good elk numbers. Would bring a cart or bike with cart.
