Norinco 1911A1, anyboby have one?
« on: November 15, 2009, 05:03:53 PM »
I've had one I bought new for years.  I put Wilson Combat parts in it, SHOK-BUFF Recoil System, Adjustable trigger the hole 9 yards. Had to do a little feed ramp work to feed hollow points. Never has jammed scene. Groups real will. Wish they still sold them in the USA. Clinton Adm. Banded all imports from China around 1995. :bash: For the 350.00 I paid NIB, its been a great 1911.

Only a couple pistol makers I like and none come from China. Can you put up some pics of it?

I thought the Norincos came from S. America???  Probably not, just my brain not working.  Anyway, know several guys who have them.  Bought them for the frame and slide.  Put in all aftermarket parts, a little polishing, and they shoot great.  One guy I know uses his for competition shoots.  Wish I had bought a couple.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

I have had a few Norinco 22's and they all were the same quality, rough fit and finish but shot better than most U.S. made rifles, outside of high end stuff, definitely worth the hundred or so bucks they cost. China does make some of the best knockoffs around.
Never, ever let Creed hold you baby, it will ruin it and you will have to get another.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

Never owned one, but they're well respected.

I have one and its a great weapon. I've had no problems at all with it. Its an exact copy if the colt and you can interchange any Colt part with it if you want to customize it. I only paid $225 for mine brande new in the 90's and my brother and dad bought one as well and neither one of them has had any issues/problems with thiers
