What type of quiver and why?

I have noticed looking at a lot of pictures on this site and watching the outdoor channel lately, that a lot of people use a bow mount quiver.  I personally use a back mounted quiver.  Was wondering what people use and why you don't like the others or why you like the type you use.

Mainly, it keeps broadheads secure until the arrow is removed.  Personal preference.

i use a bow mounted one because my arrow is right there with the bow at all times. i have tried every kind . leg quivers snag on all branches, backpack ones require you to have your pack with you at all times and you have to reach for the arrow and putting the arrow back was a pain. the bow mounted quiver has a quick release button for taking it off real fast.

I hunt in the frickin' brush, day in and day out, and my personal choice is a hip quiver.  To be specific, I use the Alpine Hip Quiver that I put my 7 Arrow Soft-Loc Quiver into.  I like holding my off-bow hand on the quiver and guiding it through the tough stuff; I just feel that I have more control over it that way.

hip for me, thats how i shoot my 3d shoots and that is how i practice. i don't like the weight and the noise that my quivers that i had on my bows made.

Hip for me.  Bow mounted quivers are a pain whenever you are shooting in any kind of cross wind, the make the bow nosier, and every time you remove an arrow it changes the way the bow shoots, small changes, but changes none the less.  The hip quiver holds the broadhead every bit as secure as a bow mounted one and they are just as accessible if you need a follow up shot as a bow mounted one.  JMHO

backpack mount doesn't seem very convenient and i can picture myself falling down, an arrow coming loose and sticking me in the leg or something like that. the hip mount, while i've never tried it just looks too much in the way. it looks like it would catch on everything in the woods and make too much noise walking through the brush.
apparently thry are not this way but thats the way it looks to me.

I use an Alpine soft lok quiver that is bow mounted.  I practice with it off and with it on, makes very little difference in point of impact.  But I do remove the quiver once in a treestand or when I set up on a bull.

I prefer my Dawgware side quiver, or Leather Side Stalker, keeps arrows handy and I can get one with very little movement. I cannot use a back quiver because I am 6'4" 275lbs and it keeps hanging up in the brush when I try to duck/crawl or whatever.
I do have a Selway quiver on my 64# 1952 Static Tip Bear Grizzly, but usually am carying my 70# Damon Howatt and like having nothing on it for maneuverability.

Other. I use a quiver which is a lot closer to a back quiver. Except that I can easily take it off or also rotate the quiver down to my side (especially useful in the brush). It's pretty much a knock off of an Asbell quiver. It was once a bow mounted quiver which was modified with a sling.

I like the looks of those, very versatile looking.

Never seen one of those before, alot like the one I made.  I use my custom job and a Ranco Safari CatQuiver if I need pack space.

Bow mount.  I hunt with the quiver on.  Doesn't make the bow shoot any different.  I've encounter occasions I need another arrow and it was right there on my bow.
