My hunting partner's last deer
« on: August 14, 2010, 04:06:52 PM »
He hunted, but never shot another deer. He died year before last. I came across this photo he had given me.

Pretty sweet lookin.  Keep those memories close to your heart. Chat him up next time you're up to yours and his huntin ground.

Yeah, watching him hunt while pulling an oxygen bottle on wheels was a unique experience. In the last couple of years of his life, his heart was so congested that he could not go over Snoqualmie Pass due to the altitude.

That's too bad, his last buck was one hell of a nice whitetail though, love the eyeguards!
