Former Idaho Gubernatorial Candidate Rammell Enters Wolf Wars Guns Ablazing
December 16, 2010

Dr. Rex Rammell, former candidate for the republican nomination for Idaho’s governorship, continues to make the news. A couple of weeks ago he promised to the citizens of Idaho he would move from his home near Idaho Falls and take up residency in Idaho County……and start killing wolves.
Rammell is no stranger to Idahoans and his reputation seems to be leaving him with one of those you either hate him or love him kind of relationships. However you choose to view Dr. Rammell, few can’t say the man has no chutzpah.
On Wednesday night citizens from the Idaho County region gathered at the Grangeville High School Cafeteria and listened to Rammell declare his intentions to challenge the Federal Government. This challenge comes as the result of, yet once again, dealing with gray wolves. Many Idahoans are fed up and perhaps the difference between many Idahoans and Rex Rammell is he has the fortitude to take action and force some changes.
The Wolf Wars are ugly, ugly, ugly and in all honesty can only be blamed on the U.S. Government and their partners in crime, the unending list of environmental organizations who nourish off the hind tit of government. Always pushing. Never compromising. Refusing to listen to opposing opinions and scientific knowledge, these groups set the stage for the Wolf Wars. Is this what they wanted? Is their goal to incite violence?
According to the Lewiston Tribune, Rammell asked the crowd for support in this proposed takeover of rights while opposing the Federal Government.
“We’ve got no option left, other than to take matters into our own hands and start a states’ rights movement in our own county,” Rammell said to the approving crowd. “What I want is some action. It’s time to quit talking. Are you willing to get out there and risk this with me?”
It might be accurate to say that the Wolf Wars are inching toward a new level, a point where, as Rammell claims, there are no options left. You can’t back people into corners like this without expecting something bad to come out of it.
However, this isn’t the first time in American history that people got fed up with government intrusion and decided to do something about it.
So, is Rammell seriously planning to take matters into his own hands, while soliciting the help of fellow Idahoans? Or is he testing the waters? I think both. I think that Dr. Rammell fully understands the steps he needs to take to effect action, change that will relieve the citizens of Idaho County and set the stage for statewide actions. Should he and his supporters not find the results they want, will they band together and carry out their threat to start hunts to kill wolves?
This is the hardest the citizens have pushed back as pertains to the Wolf Wars. Is Washington listening? Or, is this the action they have been pushing for all along? Does the Obama administration want a violent response in order to flex their might and further crush the Idaho citizenry?
We may have reached that crossroad! If the ball isn’t in the Government’s side of the court yet, get
ready because it’s being served up.

I think the real Idaho county just stood up!
Welcome to liberal America, where the truth is condemned and facts are ignored so as not to "offend" anyone
