Anybody Kill A Spring Bear Yet?
« on: April 29, 2008, 08:53:23 PM »
I have not been able to get out yet and am chomping at the bit to get to the hill.

Anybody held up by the snows or?

Anybody see, spot, glass, pass up, or shoot a Spring Bear?

I'm hoping to get out by the 10th.

So are you waiting for them to come to you? :chuckle:

I had a customer drop off a 300 pounder from oregon the other day. Measured the skull green at 19 7/16. Doing a half mount on him. Looks to be a pretty young bear about 6 or so.

I heard that a big bear was shot around Baker Lake (Skagit unit). Does anyone know anything about this?

I'm gearing up and anxiously counting down the days. A few friends and I are heading to Saskatchewan in two weeks!
