Looks good, like to see animals in there. Bringing couple of kids with me this weekend, so hopefully get to see some for the kids for sure. Wanna get into and around as much of area as possible. Itchin for the season already, lack of summer and fall like weather will do that......
:yeah:  I was thinking the same thing ...

Just fyi if your goin to go up around there be careful. I personally know somebody that did and went around barricades(because they have been moved) and they got a ticket but no fine was actually writin on it cause they gonna turn itover to the prosocuter to see what they wanna do with it.  :bash: :bdid:

Violating a road closed sign/barrier is a mandatory court appearance statewide. A lot of people think that officers can chose to either make a court appearance mandatory or give a fine, that is not true with state/city/county officers. Officers are given what is known as a "bail schedule" which lists all offenses and their fines or if a court appearance is mandatory. However at the federal level (such as BLM, USFS, USFWS, NPS) they can make ANY federal citation a mandatory court appearance, even something like a parking ticket.

And if the violator is TRIBAL?

Violating a road closure is not a fish and wildlife law violation (RCW 77). It is a traffic/driving violation (RCW 46). Tribal members have to follow RCW 46 laws just like every other citizen.

But they don't.

The road closed regulations I am referring to are signs that are used for dangerous situations or when roads are permanently closed, not for roads that are closed such as red dot areas or winter wildlife closure areas. Those fall under RCW 77.

I'm going to head over tomorrow afternoon to hang a few stands for September.   I'm taking my car to save on gas money.  I will try to take some pictures if I get down by the washout.

Did you take your snow shoes?  Were you able to make it into your spots?

Getting back on track, do any of you know if we will have vehicle access to Tamarack Springs this Oct? I have not been that way yet this year. Reading through the posts some say there is access now and some say there isn't????? May just have to take a look at it myself weekend after this one.

Ya been speaking with forest service and the game dept. and theer is no money in the budget to fix any of the issue of roads in and around there. They are blocked at the springs from joe watt side and can't get to the mor beyond thta point, same goes for around the bottom towards willow gulch it is barricaded where the lt murray boundry is. Over half of access to the area will be walk in only, no vehicles or camping will be past that. Unless you want to pack all ur stuff into beyond that point. :bash:

Should make for some great hunting then, for people willing to hike in. I would bet that there will be plenty of hunters going in on ATV's though, when deer and elk season opens.
