If that’s where you had it hide it better to where you can see them through binos! Hiding them good ensures nobody messes with them besides maybe game wardens.

That grinds my gears. Should have punched him in the face and told the sheriff the blood from his broken nose looks pretty old like it’s been there a long time just like your trap. People are real pieces of crap. If it’s not yours DONT touch it

I hope you press charges even if nothing comes of it. Pos like that really needs his arse kicked but at least it sends a message. Youre legally trapping and he is breaking the law. Piece of s$$$ like that really need to be taught a lesson. If you t teach him a lesson the old fashioned way he will have you in court. Better to at least just turn him in.

Don't get your hopes up, WDFW won't stand behind you trappers!!  If the person who mess's with your traps or trap line is a "animal rights terrorist" they'll run with their tales between their legs!

Just ask jingles!

This is the only thing I support with cameras on public land, catching scumbags doing scumbag stuff and lying about it

This outstanding individual decided to destroy my set. He didn't see my cameras and I was able to meet him in person. I parked at his pickup and waited for him to come out. He nervously came up to my window and said "Is that your live set in there?". Which told me right away he knew what it was when he saw it. Now I was upset, but wasn't going to be real mean until the guy said "it looked like it had been out there a real long time. (it was out there 5 days) I said "It has! do you know how trapping works?" Then he said "Well, how often are you checking it?". I said "often enough to know when you're in here ****ing with it!". He stared at me with a long pause. I said " I have cameras all over in here! I saw the whole thing. don't **** with my stuff!" I dont know about you but it looks pretty fresh to me

  :yeah:

And I feel like this is the type of thing this thread should be for  :twocents:

As opposed to posting unknowing people’s pics on the internet just because they walked in front of your camera? I agree. Never did understand the point of that if they weren’t doing anything wrong

Maybe due just the name of the post. Some people are just making light of seeing others in their area.  Same as a post your trail cam bucks type thread. I can say too that if someone that had their pic taken in an area and saw their picture posted in a just for fun thread maybe it would also be a deterant in case they did see a camera in the future to leave it if later seen. For me I see a lot of cameras in the woods. And for fun always look to see if it is posted here. And would not be upset as I did not do anything wrong. Anyways appreciate the people that did cross my camera this season and did not take it. Nice to see respectful people in the area after having one stolen from the same zone a couple years ago.
Maturity is when you have the power to destroy someone who did you wrong but instead you breathe, walk away, and let life take care of them.

I've found many cameras iver the years, always gave a thumbs up or a full moon. All in good fun.  I'm on this thread somewhere back a ways, it was entertaining and I check back to see if maybe I'll be up again someday.

I didn't feel there was a need to get the law involved. Had he try to steal something I would have. I feel if he found one of the cameras he would have or if the walk was shorter he may have tried to steal the trap. But he didn't. He got chewed out pretty good and I doubt he will be a problem for me or anyone else. If he is, I do have his plate number, pics of his face and the videos of him destroying my set. As for moving it, I already did. I trapped right there last year and not a single person messed with it. I had heavy bobcat traffic right there and there's a reason it's right off the road. I have not had any bobcat activity there this year so I will be trapping elsewhere.

saw this trespasser late season. No camo, no stealth.  just walking around with a nocked arrow and a little kid following behind.   None of my neighbors recognize this guy or the little kid.
