Alaska moose questions

A couple of buddies and I are just starting the process of planning a trip to Alaska to moose hunt and would appreciate any info.  We have a connection to a guy that lives in Palmer, he has a boat so we can go that route.  We were thinking GMU 14 so if you have any info on that unit that would be a bonus, but are open to other suggestions.  We are hoping to go the DIY route to cut the cost.  So, if you have any tips, suggestions, honey holes, costs, ect, ect it would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks! My cuzz englewood on here just did a DIY Alaska moose hunt. I would send him a pm, he is in Montana with his family on a lope hunt right now. He should be back Monday.
