First day, first retrieve
« on: October 19, 2011, 06:28:16 PM »
First day sunday went out for a little afternoon hunt, decided to bring the new puppy . first retrieve was two mallards she did fantastic, she was so excited with her first retrieve that right after she "fetched" them for me, she ran 10 yards back out into the water to bring me back a stick and one of my empty shells (shes still a puppy and needs a little more work :chuckle:) Wasn't expecting much but turned out to be fantastic, she preformed great and turned out a couple birds in the process.

Nothing finer than you best friend jumping into cold A$$ water to fetch your birds. Your dog is the reason you hunt, not the rest of it.  :twocents:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
