I'm having a hard time finding open time too Richard. We're booked solid here at the farm starting April 7th through June 2-3. Something going on pretty much every single weekend.

Richard, just sent you a PM. I'll be there Saturday with my Britanny pup, thinking about bringing the Setter as well.

Hello all

We are still going to make this happen, but in all actuality this might not happen until this summer due to a few of us that have trial and test commitments to keep.

Also if we wait until summer we will have better grounds to have this at,  where we will also have water for swimming so we can do water work as well.

With all that being said.  I know this is last minute but if there of some of you that would like to get together this coming Saturday March 31st.   I will set the day aside here at the kennel,  come on down to Onalaska and play with your dog and lets meet one another.  I will have birds here for working your dog.  Let me know if this sounds good to any of you.

     whew, I'd love too but google maps sez;    I-90 W and U.S. 12 W/Highway 12 W  408 mi, 7 hours 17 mins

Ribka
Tried to send you a PM. however your mailbox is full and won't any messages.
So far there is about 5 people from Hunt-WA that are coming out today.
There is also a couple lady hunter/shooters coming out with their dogs as well.
( One is single gentlemen has great bird dogs and shotguns )
This is happening rain won't stop anything.

Tomorrow is an all Vizsla day.  I don't know how much time there would be to work anyone else's dog.  However if someone wanted to watch some of the top Vizsla's in North America work, feel more than welcome to come watch.  We will also be introducing about 6 pups to birds and gunfire.
Richard

Great day at Tuxedo Kennel, wide variety of bird dogs working the field - viszla, english pointer, Italian Spinone, boykin spaniel, black lab, brittany, and an english setter who did his own thing. The sun even came out in the afternoon. Richard puts on a good event.

Just want to re interate what everyone else said,  Saturday was a blast.  Pens-fan
thanks for bring Mace and Boogy,  I have a soft spot for the Boykins.   You have my up most respect for getting Boogy back, stick with him he's going to be one heck of a dog.  Sockeye I'll just say is if Raven ever ends up missing don't look for her down here  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:.  I'll take real good care of her...O- wait she's not here.    Willjohn what can be said about Miss Sadie you know what you've got there, I would say after this hunting season your  hunting partners will be switching to Brittany's vs their GSP's after they watch her doing her thing.

Thanks again to all that came down.  I look forward to doing this again on a larger scale this summer to meet more Bird Dogs and of course more Hunt-Wa members.

Regards
Bluemoon

I just found this thread and would be very interested in attending something like this. Ive got a 4 month old lab with a pointing blood line and could really use some tips and on training along with seeing how other people are doing it. Hopefully something gets planned for this summer. The Fall city location would be best for me.

Sounds like a fun time I would be in for at least Chehalis. Just realized this has already happened but if you do it next year could count me in.

Any thoughts of doing any during the spring/summer of 2014?
