I believe you are right.....but as someone pointed out already, the governer appoints wdfw people. If we talk to him.....we might have some influence on who gets in charge of wdfw

After his aid had written and told me that they don't oppose gubernatorial appointments out of courtesy, I went to the state GOP and asked about this. I never received a response, which further annoyed me. I was, of course, referring to the appointment of Jay Kehne to the Wildlife Commission. Mr. Kehne had spent the previous 3 years campaigning around the state as a proponent of the cuddly grey wolf and a board member of Conservation Northwest.
