Here is 6 different blacktails.  One has pretty nice eyegaurds already for a BT.

Went for a ride this morning and seen a herd of elk near Chelatchie prairie. Two spikes, one was up to his ears and the other was about double his ears. No pic cause no camera but I thought I would share.

Second year I got pics of this guy I call "Slit-Ear".  He's got heavy antlers, but I think whatever attacked him and cut his left ear also damaged his antler making machine...

I love the way their eyes glow in the infrared pics!  Nice shots.  Can't wait to see what they become after the velvet stage.

Here is one from this evening in  my yard. This guy was a spike by 2 last December.
