I started off hunting Muleys then Blacktails and now I'm hooked on whitetails. I've killed all three types but I have been hunting whitetails for the last 20 years or so. I just can't stop.

I would choose muleys mostly because of the terrain to hunt them in and I just love how majestic they look. I have not hunted for a whitetail (have a late hunt tag this year) but hunting in the lowlands just isn't as exciting as being in the mountains.

We've killed big whitetails up over 4000 ft. elev. I will say that some of those big Blacktails....are really big.
