newbie tips please

Just bought my first bow and waiting for my hunter ed class on July 14. Do you need any special license or permits to hunt cayotes on public areas or lands? I need to start practicing on live games if possible, since 3d shoot in skookum is held once a week.

You can find the full hunter's regulations here. http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/regulations/

I believe you can hunt coyotes year round with either a small or big game license. No additional tags or permits required.

Gotta wait till after you pass hunters ed to purchase a license though. Get a bag or block target and practice hitting a spot. Hunting without a license is asking for trouble.
