Went for a drive with the family tonight and saw over 300 elk. Didnt even have to get away from the roads. Went up to set out a few trail cams. Sorry for the bad pics!

Looks good. Was planning on taking the family out that way for a camping trip, but this weekend supposed to be around 100 (so far looks like mid 80's for the weekend after...though that could always change). Will probably go the next weekend. Lot of green out there, should be good food base for all those elk.
Will probably hit Waitts lake this weekend for some perch. Getting tired of taking the 3 and 5 year old out and catching so many trout. Getting tired of trout.

When I take my wife out to my hunting area in the spring she always says " What could be so hard about this ? " . She sees tons of animals in the valleys & along the roads and the animals aren't to scarred. Makes it hard to strike out & have to explain. Mike

I was thinking the same thing 2 spikes and a cow, 3 archery guys, 3 legal elk, 1 shot at the same time, Game Over LOL!!!!
