Have it set to record.  Will be interesting to see the views of the people on the show.  Probably pro wolf people but we will see.

I thought there was some good wolf footage, educational, connected some dots on what's going on with their wolf recovery. Well worth the watch.

The girl hooked up w/a Idaho wolf hunter who had a sign on his house that said he shoots all illegal aleans (the gray wolf). When he got out of his pickup he had an AR type of rifle. He said this is an assault rifle, you need one of these to hunt wolves. :bash: They picked a great SOB to show the world what a hunter is. :bash:

Looks like the pups the wolf tracker filmed are part of the Teanaway pack.

After about 4 minutes, I wanted to crawl through the TV and start strangling those bunny lovers! Especially the girl...

I wonder whether they had a difficult time connecting with broadly representative hunters who were willing to appear in  the documentary?

It's also possible that they try to find individuals who will evoke a strong emotional response from the audience. If they did that, it degrades the quality of the message, in my opinion.
Which side are you on if neither will claim you?

The hunter was in a no win situation.  The program was produced and edited by pro wolf people.  Anything he did or said to put hunters in a positive light would be edited out and anything he did or said to put hunters in a negative light was emphasized.

:yeah: X's 2.  I'm also glad I watched it.  It connected some dots for me and the only part I really didn't care for was the Idaho hunter portion.  I don't agree with the one-sided message delivery but I still learned some new info. about the issue and how widespread it had gotten before they acknowledged the existence. :bash:

"Man vs Wolf" was the name of the show.

The lookout wolves they showed were the same ones I watched several times for two years.

Its funny how they said the wolves only kill the weak.  They then edit to show a bull elk standing his ground against the wolves.  If I remember correctly watching that show the wolves did group up and run that bull down.  One sided show presented to the public to get support of wolf conservation. :yike:

Of course.  Didn't everyone know the weak and sick wear signs??   They kill what they can, weak, sick, unlucky or what fights back..

Today the sick and weak out of 10 is a cripple.  Tomorrow when your hungry again it's the slowest young one.  The third day it's a little older one but a little slow.  Eventually you only have the fastest one left and he gets eat but of course he qualifies as the slowest one in the herd beause he's the only one left.  So he's eaten.  God save us from this idiocy!

A couple of updates regarding wolves in the Methow:

There may be a male/female pair in the Methow again (at least one Lookout wolf), but no pups have been identified this year so far.

Tom, Bill, and Erin White had 3 months of house arrest added to their plea agreement by a federal judge in Spokane today.
Which side are you on if neither will claim you?
