Salmon from shore, pt defiance?
« on: July 05, 2012, 05:55:32 PM »
I'm headed back to the westside this weekend, from Spokane, and wondering if there are some places to chuck a buzz bomb from shore around Tacoma. Looks like some piers along Ruston way or maybe just north of the pt defiance launch would be worth a shot. What do ya guys think, worth a shot? Any chance at catching a king?  Thanks, Danny

People get lucky off the piers every now and then your best bet would be browns point and fish with all the snaggers!
Remember that buck is climbing that Mt. every day!

Pt. definance has a dock that can be good at times. Just down the beach to the south at the point can be good but watch the tide. you will get stuck out there in a tree for hours.
