I replaced mine with a pentax pf80ed and a fixed power gold ring in 25x. the pentax is optically better, the fixed power is lighter and compact.

the leuy variable is an excellent comprimise and you should give you fw if any dissapointments, the hd one I bet is better yet. I feel the only scope that is as good/better is the nikon. the leuy warranty dept smokes all others, and I have found that if you use gear hard you will need it worked on. leuy is for sure the tops there.

bottom line IMO, the scope is as big as I would want to pack, and has the benefit of  being waterproof. it is not the top of any lists for the best spotter ever, but for the $$ it gives a lot of value.

Love mine, had it for a little over a year and it is stated above their service is fantastic.

I have a pair of their windriver 10 X 50 binos and lost an eye cup. They tried to get me a new cup and without any success so I sent it in and they sent me a brand new bino.

My dad had one for a few years. I liked it really well. It seemed like the perfect size. I thought about buying it from him when he sold it, it was a good deal. He ended up buying the Swarovski 80mm to replace it with. That thing is sweet!
