I have pictures of a Montec that I buried into a tree and cut out and hours later, the same broadhead did the trick to send a bull to the dirt.  That's tough enough for me. :twocents:

I like montecs. Regardless I think a one piece head is the one who is going to win the "toughest" broad head challenge.

If I was going to use a one piece head it would be the one from VPA.

I haven't tried harvesting a steel plate yet.  My broadheads work fine for deer and elk though.

These may be really hard to beat:
Broadhead Durability Test (Raw Footage)

Link to the company's website:

I have no affiliation with this company.
O.k I can buy this one ...the reason this head is this tough is because it is stainless ....I would like to get my hands on one for our broadhead test .... :yeah:

I'm interested to see what comes of this. Base only on my unofficial experience with them my thoughts are that the Montex will win for mainstream 1 piece and the G5 Striker or Muzzy's for replaceable blade heads. Now, there are other high end broadheads that I've never had the opportunity to even see, let alone try but I'd imagine Grizzlystick and Silver flames heads would do well.  Only problem is, considering cost, anyone who has one might be reluctant to donate it.

Did anyone else see the price on those Solid broadheads, $75 BUCKS! You gotta be kidding!  That is 25 bucks each, with a 12 dollar arrow that would be 37 bucks being flung down range.  I hope this is not a sign of things to come.  I have a hard enough time spending 30+ for three.

one thing I do know for sure is Muzzy is no match for a Wasp Boss....I already been down that road but as far as the others we will see.....hopefully in the next week or two we can do our test BUT I WISH SOME WOULD ROUND UP SOME OLDER BROADHEADS FOR USE ...Kinda hard to buy one broadhead ...if we can donate one then some others should help us out and do the same .....JUST MONEY  :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle:
